You Can Make Your Own Inexpensive Photo Light Tent

You will find that in photography, you can spend a pretty penny on the items that you need in order to get the perfect picture. Many photographers will use a photo light tent in order to make sure they get the exact lighting and background that they need when photographing a specific object. The price tag on most of these photo tents can be pretty steep. You can use the internet to locate plans and directions on creating your very own photo tent. The cost of the materials will be a fraction of the cost of an actual tent that you purchase at a photography store.

You will still have to purchase the added necessities for your photo light tent such as studio lighting, the camera, flash, and other studio equipment that you cannot create yourself. The great aspect of creating a photo tent yourself is the fact that you can make it exactly as small or big as you need it, and you can use materials that will give your photo the exact look that you want. A photo tent consists of the size of a box that you will need to fit your object, fabric that can be just about any type, lights, and white Bristol board for the background or whatever background board you choose,

In order to create your photo light tent, you need to take your box and cut your front hole out for the frame of the object. You then need to cut holes all around the box in order to allow the light to come through. How many holes you cut out will determine the amount of light that you want to come through. You then need to cover the entire box with the fabric that you have. This could be any type of fabric such as white nylon, white muslin, or white fleece. You can use tape to secure the fabric around the box so that it doesn't move. You can then use glue to stick your back board to the inside of the box.

When your photo light tent is created, you can then add the lights around the box in order to get the perfect lighting effect that you want. Lighting is what puts photography at its best as well as the camera that you use. You should make sure that you have the camera accessories as well as the lens accessories that you need to get the perfect picture. Many photographers have said that Canon has been a great camera for them to use.
